Privacy notice

How we handle your data

This notice describes the controls implemented in the Home of Cards service. It does not replace the final jurisdiction-specific legal review required before launch.

Data we use

We use account and contact details to provide sign-in, orders, delivery, selling, returns, disputes, payouts, support, and security. Payment-card details stay with the payment provider; Home of Cards stores provider references and transaction records.

Analytics and notifications

Optional marketplace analytics are linked to an account only after consent. You can change analytics consent and non-essential notification preferences. Essential service messages, such as order, return, security, and payout updates, cannot be disabled while the account is active.

Sharing and processors

Data is shared only as needed with service providers that operate payments, identity verification, email, hosting, storage, delivery, fraud prevention, and support. Sellers receive only the fulfilment information needed for their own orders.

Retention and erasure

Account preferences and optional activity are removed or anonymised when an eligible erasure request completes. Open orders, returns, listings, consignments, payouts, and seller balances must be resolved first. Transaction, refund, payout, fraud-prevention, support, and audit records may remain for the approved retention period, with identifiers minimised where possible.

Your controls

Signed-in users can download a machine-readable copy of linked data and request account anonymisation from Account > Security and privacy. You can also contact support to request access, correction, restriction, objection, portability, or supervised handling for a staff account.

Contact

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@homeofcard.com. The data-controller identity, exact statutory retention schedule, and jurisdiction-specific wording must be approved and published before production launch.
